Little Beach, Kilmore Quay, County Wexford, Ireland

The famous Saltee Islands can be seen from the shoreline, especially on a clear day! The Keeragh Islands inclusive of the remains of a shelter for ship-wrecks are nearby. These Islands are a protected breeding ground for a range of bird species & the grey seals.

Saltee Sauna provides a very unique view of these Islands and Kilmore Quay harbour from our south facing sauna window while you enjoy the sauna atmosphere.

Below are some useful links on how to get to the Saltee Islands and helpful information on what you will see on your visit. (Click the pictures)

At the other end of the burrow lies Cullenstown Beach, our first location on Irelands south coast. It has a lot to offer in terms of amenities, there is plenty of space to accommodate bicycles & vehicles. There are 4 large private picnic areas as well as a very wide shoreline to enjoy.

The beachside hand-ball alley can be a space for supervised children to enjoy, also for the keen athlete to improve their skills.

There is a lot of wildlife to look at in Cullenstown. A huge variety of seabirds are there throughout the year and on occasion you can spot the odd seal in the water. Cormorants are a regular visitor. Barnacle Geese are a winter visitor from Greenland, they frequent here between October & April.

Ballyteige Burrow or “the Burrow” as it is locally known, is one of the finest sand dune systems in the South East. There are three main walking routes – along the beach, through the dunes, or on the path by the fence that separates the dunes from the adjoining farmland.
