Wexford has always been a popular location, it boasts 250km of shoreline and has a wide variety of attractions for the welcome visitor. The county is neatly nestled in the cornerstone of Irelands Ancient East and its heritage is evident throughout all roads old and new.

Having more hours of day light in this region it is easy to see why Wexford County is extremely popular amongst the staycationers this year.

Kilmore Quay

Predominately a working fishing village where anglers, potters and trawlers can enjoy their trade, hobby or passion. Ballyteige Burrow stretches from Cullenstown to Kilmore Quay where an abundance of thatched cottages compliment the serenity or endurance of the location, depending on the time of year!

Hook Peninsula

A treasured location, spectacular views throughout the peninsula. Whether you seek a vantage point, camping ground, par3 golf course, museum, lighthouse, abbey, fort, kayaking excursion, a haunted house, beach walk, pub or restaurant Hook Head can provide.

Bannow Drive

Evidence of previous dwellings, abbeys and mills can be seen from the roadside throughout the county. Wexford is steeped in history and tales of heroics. Bannow drive is a beautifully scenic route through Duncormick, Cullenstown, Bannow & Wellingtonbridge.
