About Saltee Sauna

We are an appointment based, wood fired sauna, offering private & social sauna sessions. We are located at the little beach in the picturesque fishing village of Kilmore Quay in County Wexford. Our unit was designed and crafted in Scandinavia, saunas are a way of life in this region. We believe that Ireland has the appropriate climate for sauna use to become part of our own culture and in time, a way of life here.

Sauna use is extremely healthy for your mind & body, marrying this activity with nature brings a whole new experience.

Scandinavian Spruce lines the interior walls throughout, our benches are made with Aspen, which helps to keep you cool and the exterior walls are Larch, so we’re ready for any weather all year long!

Our South facing sauna window has a very unique view of this stunning location in Ireland’s Ancient East.

There really is no better way to warm up your soul, especially after a splash in the sea!
